From nostalgic melodica motifs to foreboding synth punctuations, from shimmery guitar ornamentation to visceral throat singing, I used a huge variety of arranging and recording techniques for the 48-track soundtrack of DD2.
"The one area that’s not in question is the music; it’s absolutely fantastic. Every track flows seamlessly between player and enemy phases, as well as into combat, and it’s all top-notch."

To forge a distinctive and immersive sonic identity for the world of Dark Deity, I blended visual elements from the character art and map design with the story's thematic beats. Through this, I composed memorable anchor compositions including the main theme and final boss music.
The resulting score drove a compelling experience: Dark Deity now has hundreds of thousands of fans across PC and Nintendo Switch.

To learn more about game development, I created a side-scrolling platformer from concept to completion, handling the design, code, and soundtrack, of course. I learned how to design a cohesive aesthetic (both sonic and visual) and gained firsthand experience in mastering/implementing audio for games.
The game itself is pretty bad. But the music is cool!

I hope you enjoyed looking through my projects and listening to my sample tracks! I love scoring with the organic imperfection of analog, hardware synths and custom recording my own strings and guitar. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions: andynemusic@gmail.com. Cheers!
